Missions Fall Story Group

Service Description

Our life stories become clearer and more meaningful when shared within a supportive and encouraging community, and that's precisely what this group will offer. Each participant will bring one significant or defining story of hurt or heartache from their formative years and take turns reading it for the group. The facilitator will guide the group in thoughtfully engaging the reader with kindness and curiosity while we explore the themes and impact found in the narrative. We will look at the setting of the story, what is happening, what is present as well as what is missing, and most importantly- how it impacted your heart and shaped who you are today. Understanding the impact and how these stories stay with us allows us to have more choice and wholeness as we decide how we want to bring ourselves into the future. My desire is that finances don't hinder anyone from joining. Those with Greater Europe Mission are approved to use ministry account funds. I have funds ready and waiting to help make this group a possibility for you. Please commit to missing no more than one (or two if we all skip a week) session as your presence and participation greatly affect the dynamic. With the October holidays, we may choose a week to skip a session if it works best for everyone. There is understanding for unexpected events.
